The objectives of the include significant reduction of the energy consumption, reduction and optimization of system pressure, continuous monitoring of network water losses, and identification of causes and places of pipeline failures of the Pristina water system. The continuous network monitoring system will immediately alert operators to any new pipe breaks or pressure drops that may occur, so troubleshooting delimitation and repair can begin within a short period of time saving a significant amount of water, labour, and energy. The success of the project will lay the foundations for further cooperation as well as help to successfully launch other projects related to network operation energy and pressure management works.
