Virtual information day: Climate finance – opportunities in the Western Balkans

A virtual info day was held on 25 September 2020 about the second Call for Applications for climate protection activities of Hungarian enterprises in the Western Balkans region, which is expected to be launched during Autumn 2020. The event featured a panel discussion about the challenges of green economy in a rapidly changing environment. Representatives from the public and private sector as well as from the multilateral world shared experiences and potential solutions for integrating climate protection into economic development strategies.

Chairman of the Western Balkans Department of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Director of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) represented strategic partners of the Center during the discussion. We were honoured to hear inputs from representatives of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and the Green Policy Center too.
