The Western Balkans Green Center was an exhibitor at the 89th Novi Sad Fair

The 89th Novi Sad International Agricultural and Food Fair was held from 21 to 27 May 2022, one of the most important and most visited economic events in Serbia and the Vojvodina region. This year the partner country of the Fair was Hungary, in addition to Hungarian companies Hungarian background institutions dedicated to facilitating export promotion and development policy such as the Hungarian Export Development Agency (HEPA), the CED Central European Economic Development Network Nonprofit Llc., Eximbank, the Hungarian Tourism Agency, and the Western Balkans Green Center Nonprofit Llc. were among the exhibitors. The expo was opened by the Head of State of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary.

As part of the exhibition, a professional forum and B2B meetings were held on 23 May 2022, co-organized by the CED. This program provided a dedicated opportunity for the exhibiting companies and participants to establish further business contacts. The green transition scheme by the Ministry for Innovation and Technology of Hungary focuses on the Western Balkans, and its financial support and technical assistance are well recognized and appreciated among stakeholders in Serbia, also in the agricultural space.
