GreenTech 2022 conference

The GreenTech conference took place between May 26-27, 2022 in Zalaegerszeg, at the ZalaZONE. It is one of the biggest green professional events in the region, this year’s main theme was the climate protection and economic competitiveness in the field of industrial emissions, green and renewable energy, digital strategy, transport, waste management and water treatment, highlighting the demonstration of the alignment of innovation in the areas concerned with sustainable development.

The event was opened by Prof. Dr. László Palkovics, Minister of the Ministry of Technology and Industry. The conference was also attended by the most important governmental, municipal, institutional, educational and corporate actors from the professional fields. In addition to professional conferences, visitors were also able to get to know the innovative activities of the exhibiting companies.

On the second day of the event, Attila Steiner, State Secretary for Energy and Climate Policy, gave an opening presentation. László Örlős, Managing Director of the Western Balkans Green Center Llc., participated in the Water Management section of the conference. During the professional discussion, the results, technological innovations and solutions were presented, that play an important role in climate adaptation and contribute to the further strengthening of the international competitiveness of the Hungarian water industry. These results are also supported by the climate financing scheme of the Ministry for Technology and Industry.
