Green Finance Conference 2022

The Hungarian National Bank organised the fourth Green Finance Conference on 6 October 2022.

The main questions of the event focused on the changing economic environment, while participants also reviewed how to sustain the recent dynamics of green finance.

Csaba Kandrács, Vice President of the Hungarian National Bank, opened the event. In addition to the MNB, speakers included national and foreign market players, including Thomas Steiner, Managing Director of the Austrian National Bank, Pipijn Rijvers, President of the International Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).

The conference also honoured financial institutions with the Green Finance Awards and the Green Finance Science Awards for Excellence in Academia. The event was also attended by colleagues from the Green Center.
