Sustainable finance and investment
László Örlős, our Managing Director moderated the discussion „Sustainable finance and investment” at the first Budapest Climate Summit.
Alberto Ninio from AIIB, Daniel James Besley from The World Bank, Gábor Gyura from the Central Bank of Hungary, Marcel Janssen from Dentons and Nándor Csepreghy from Blue Planet Climate Protection Foundation presented their views on climate measures of crisis instruments, threats and opportunities deriving from pandemic, greenbond markets and regional connectivity in the sector of climate finance.
The Summit brought together policy makers, including Minister Prof. Dr. László Palkovics, State Secretary Dr. Péter Kaderják, and Executive Vice President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans, as well as industry experts, corporate leaders, technology pioneers and next generation sustainable leaders to share their perspectives on how to enable businesses and the civil society to deliver actions necessary to achieve climate objectives by 2050.
