The launch event of the Western Balkans Green Center
On 13 February 2020 the Center has published its first Call for Applications to support green project preparation in the Western Balkans in the framework of a launch event organized in cooperation with Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MIT), Eximbank Hungary and Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The purpose of the event was to introduce the Western Balkans Green Center, to promote its first Call and to provide interested stakeholders with hands-on information about the application process and the possibility for personal consultation too.
In her speech, Ms. Barbara Botos, Deputy State Secretary of MIT has announced, inter alia, that a second call with the same objectives will be published in the 2nd half of the year. Mr. Attila Galambos, President of the Western Balkans Committee elaborated on local partnerships of the Commitee and the Chamber, supporting companies doing business in the region. Mr. Gábor Szőcs, Director of Cabinet of the CEO held a presentation on business development activities of Eximbank. On behalf of the Center, we presented our activities as well as details of the Call for Application.
The event provided a platform for signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Western Balkans Green Center and its two outstanding partners: Eximbank Hungary and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event was successful and well attended with representatives of more than sixty companies.
